eLearning

The shortage of skilled health professionals is a major obstacle to improved health service delivery in developing countries. The expensive cost of face-to-face training, coupled with organizational difficulties, results in limited training for health workers.

In this context, eLearning offers huge potential to improve the quantity and quality of skilled health workers. It has already proven to be an effective, low-cost solution for widely disseminating tailor-made training even to remote areas, where face-to-face learning opportunities are hard to come by. What’s more, eLearning makes it possible for health workers to further their education while continuing to provide vital public health services to their communities.

For close to a decade, AMP has been designing and developing customized eLearning solutions, adapted to the specific training needs of African health professionals. Developed by a dedicated team of instructional designers, graphic artists, animators, and programmers in collaboration with experts in vaccinology, epidemiology, and health services management, our eLearning solutions include, for example:

  • Instructional design and multimedia
  • Offline and online learning management system (LMS)
  • Serious games and learning games
  • eLearning consulting and project management (e.g., needs assessment, evaluation)
