AfriFlu
AMP convened nearly 100 African and international influenza experts in Marrakech, Morocco from June 1-2, 2010 for “AfriFlu,” a conference on influenza disease burden in Africa. The purpose of AfriFlu was to share information on influenza epidemiology and surveillance, to strengthen cooperation between countries, and to identify ways to improve knowledge of influenza disease burden in Africa.
